Community Guidelines

These guidelines apply to reviews, photos, corrections, claims, promotions, events, reports and other material submitted through LocateSushi.com or another FrontOfWeb Directories brand. They form part of our Terms of Service.

Reviews and other contributions are user content. They are not statements by FrontOfWeb Directories, even when they appear on a listing or have passed through moderation.

Be honest and relevant

  • Base reviews on a genuine first-hand experience.
  • Describe facts and opinions fairly. Do not make claims you cannot reasonably support.
  • Keep contributions relevant to the listing and useful to people choosing between businesses.
  • Disclose if you own, work for, were rewarded by, or have another important connection with the business.
  • Do not manipulate ratings, votes, favourites, rankings or other trust signals.

Respect people and their privacy

Do not submit content that:

  • threatens, harasses, bullies, hates or discriminates against people;
  • contains private or sensitive information without a lawful reason and appropriate permission;
  • sexually exploits anyone, involves child sexual abuse material, or is otherwise seriously harmful;
  • encourages violence, self-harm, crime or dangerous conduct; or
  • impersonates another person or falsely claims authority to act for a business.

Fair criticism of a business is allowed. Personal abuse, threats and irrelevant attacks are not.

Photos and other protected material

  • Only upload material you created or have permission or another lawful right to use.
  • Make sure people shown in a photo can lawfully and reasonably be depicted in the context submitted.
  • Do not use media that is deceptive, unlawfully copied, sexually explicit or gratuitously graphic.
  • Do not infringe copyright, trade marks, privacy, confidentiality or other rights.

Claims, corrections, promotions and events

  • Claim a listing only if you are authorised to represent the business.
  • Submit corrections in good faith and do not use them to disrupt a competitor.
  • Promotions and events must be genuine, current, lawful and connected with the listing.
  • Do not use fake scarcity, hidden conditions, misleading prices or other deceptive practices.

Spam, fraud and technical misuse

We do not allow scams, fake accounts or reviews, malware, repetitive or mass solicitation, irrelevant advertising, attempts to bypass limits, or content intended to interfere with the service.

Moderation

Content can be published before or after it is reviewed. We use people, automated tools or both to prioritise and assess content. We can format, restrict, decline or remove content, limit features, or suspend an account where we reasonably consider that appropriate under these guidelines, our Terms, or the law.

We do not guarantee that every contribution will be checked or that moderation will identify every problem. Review or publication does not mean that we endorse, verify or accept responsibility for a submission. Submitters remain responsible for what they provide.

Reports and review requests

Use a report option where available, or visit our Legal and Content Complaints page. Give us the page address, identify the content, explain the concern and include relevant evidence. Businesses can also ask us to correct listing information, remove a listing, or consider a response to a disputed review.

You can ask us to reconsider a moderation decision. We can review it again where appropriate, but we do not promise a particular outcome, response time, or detailed explanation. We can preserve or disclose records where reasonably necessary or required by law.

Changes

We can update these guidelines as the service and the risks it faces change. The current version will be posted here.
